"Алабама-стейкс" – американская скачка для чистокровных лошадей, открытая для трехлетних кобылок. Эта скачка I категории была учреждена в 1872 году и проводится на дистанции в одну и четверть мили (2012 метров) по грунтовой трассе ипподрома Saratoga Race Course. Проводится в середине августа и в настоящее время имеет призовой фонд в 600 000 долларов. В 2010 году она стала третьим этапом американской Тройной тиары для кобылок, после скачек Acorn Stakes и Coaching Club American Oaks. "Алабама-стейкс" названа в честь Уильяма Коттрелла из Мобила, штат Алабама. Название "Алабама" было выбрано, поскольку Коттрелл был слишком скромен, чтобы скачка была названа в его личную честь. Первый заезд состоялся 19 июля 1872 года, и его выиграла каштановая кобыла по имени Woodbine, принадлежавшая известному нью-йоркскому финансисту Августу Белмонту-старшему. Скачка не проводилась с 1893 по 1896 год и с 1898 по 1900 год. Принятие в 1908 году закона Hart–Agnew о запрете ставок законодательным собранием штата Нью-Йорк при республиканском губернаторе Чарльзе Эвансе Хьюзе привело к приостановке скачек в штате в 1911 и 1912 годах. Во время Второй мировой войны, с 1943 по 1945 год, "Алабама-стейкс" проводилась на ипподроме Belmont Park. Дистанция скачки менялась:
1 миля и 1 фурлонг – 1872–1901, 1904, 1906–1916

1 1/4 мили – с 1917 года по настоящее время.
