Емца (Ёмца) — река в Плесецком и Холмогорском районах, а также в городе Мирный Архангельской области России. Это левый приток Северной Двины. Длина реки составляет , а площадь её бассейна . Основные притоки — Мехренга (правый), Тёгра (левый), Ваймуга (левый) и Большая Чача (правый). Речной бассейн Емцы охватывает восточную часть Плесецкого района, южную часть Холмогорского района и некоторые территории на севере Няндомского и Шенкурского районов. Кроме того, территория, подчинённая городу Мирный, полностью расположена в пределах бассейна реки Емца. В нижнем течении Емца с юга граничит с Сийским заказником — федеральной особо охраняемой природной территорией. Истоки Емцы находятся в Плесецком районе, к северо-западу от посёлка Плесецк и в нескольких километрах к востоку от Онеги (которая не входит в бассейн Северной Двины). Река течёт в северо-восточном направлении. На правом берегу реки расположен посёлок городского типа Савинский. Следует отметить, что посёлок городского типа и железнодорожная станция Емца не расположены на самой реке. The Yemtsa or Yomtsa (Емца, Ёмца) is a river in Plesetsky and Kholmogorsky Districts and in the town of Mirny of Arkhangelsk Oblast in Russia. It is a left tributary of the Northern Dvina. Close to the mouth, the historical selo of Yemetsk, a former uyezd and district center, is located on the left bank. The lower of the river course (downstream from the selo of Yemetsk) are navigable.
