Champtauroz is a municipality in the district of Broye Vully in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.

Champtauroz is first mentioned in 1228 as Chantuoro. Of the built up area, housing and buildings made up 2.0% and transportation infrastructure made up 2.3%. Out of the forested land, all of the forested land area is covered with heavy forests. Of the agricultural land, 62.3% is used for growing crops and 11.8% is pastures. All the water in the municipality is in lakes. The municipality is located along the Lucens Yvonand street. It consists of the village of Champtauroz and the hamlet of Le Pontet.

Champtauroz has a population of as of 2008, 6.7% of the population are resident foreign nationals. Over the last 10 years (1999–2009 ) the population has changed at a rate of 9.3%. It has changed at a rate of 4.6% due to migration and at a rate of 4.6% due to births and deaths.
