Удобства
Несколько небольших торговых центров расположены по всему пригороду, но в остальном пригород является жилым. Основной торговый район – это улица магазинов вдоль Hawken Drive, где находятся местный супермаркет IGA, множество международных ресторанов, медицинский центр, стоматологическая клиника и почтовое отделение с киоском прессы. Пятничные вечера – самое популярное время для посещения этих ресторанов, так как многие жители любят поужинать вне дома. St Lucia Golf Links – это общедоступный 18-луночный гольф-клуб, расположенный на углу улиц Indooroopilly Road и Carawa Street. Транспорт
До Сент-Люсии можно добраться на автобусе из западных пригородов и центра Брисбена, маршруты которого заканчиваются у Университета Квинсленда. Также действует служба NightLink – программа обеспечения безопасности, предоставляющая автобусы с охраной по ночам в пятницу и субботу. Мост Элеоноры Шоннелл, предназначенный для автобусов, пешеходов и велосипедистов, соединяет университет с парком Даттон и обеспечивает движение автобусов из южных пригородов, центра города и Королевской больницы Брисбена до автобусной станции Лейкс на территории кампуса Сент-Люсии. На пароме CityCat останавливается на двух причалах в Сент-Люсии: причале Guyatt Park CityCat и причале Университета Квинсленда. На велосипеде в Сент-Люсии проложены велосипедные маршруты, использующие жилые улицы между Университетом Квинсленда и Тувунгом. По дороге в Сент-Люсию ведут три основные магистрали, все они направляются к Университету Квинсленда: Свонн-Роуд, проспект сэра Фреда Шоннелла и Эспланада.
