Роберт Грант (Robert Grant VC; 1837 – 23 ноября 1874) – англичанин, кавалер Креста Виктории, высшей и наиболее престижной награды за доблесть проявленную в бою против противника, которой могут быть награждены военнослужащие британских и стран Содружества сил.
Robert Grant VC (1837 – 23 November 1874) was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.
Военная служба
Гранту было около 20 лет, он был капралом (впоследствии повышен до сержанта) в 1-м батальоне 5-го пехотного полка (позже The Northumberland Fusiliers), британской армии во время Индийского восстания, когда в Алумбаге произошел следующий подвиг, за который он был награжден VC. Полицейская служба
Позже он стал констеблем в столичной полиции и служил в районе Y Division Holloway до своей смерти в 1874 году от болезни, которую тогда обычно называли чахоткой.
