«World of Art» (ранее известная как «The World of Art Library») – это давно существующая серия карманных книг по искусству от британского издательства Thames & Hudson, насчитывающая более 300 наименований по состоянию на 2021 год. Книги обычно объемом около 200 страниц, но обильно иллюстрированы. В отличие от некоторых кратких или популярных книг по искусству, верстка традиционная: текст и изображения часто располагаются на одной странице, но четко разделены. Серия была запущена в 1958 году, и всего было опубликовано более 300 наименований. По словам Кристофера Фрейлинга, бывшего ректора Королевского колледжа искусств, «в каждой художественной школе страны можно найти экземпляры, испачканные краской». История

Первоначально серия называлась «Библиотека мира искусства» и издавалась с черным фоном на задней обложке и корешке, а лицевая сторона обычно занималась большим цветным изображением. Самые ранние издания в твердом переплете выходили с эффектными глянцевыми обложками. Серия пережила вторую редакцию в 2001 году, к моменту публикации 300-го тома. По словам представителя Thames & Hudson, переработанные книги стали более глянцевыми, чтобы они выглядели менее «как учебники». В 2020 году World of Art была перезапущена с новой партией названий, обложки были вновь разработаны голландской дизайн-студией Kummer & Herrman, теперь с использованием белого фона. Дизайн был вдохновлен золотым сечением. Во Франции и Испании серия издавалась издательствами Éditions Thames & Hudson и Ediciones Destino под названиями L'Univers de l'art и El mundo del arte соответственно, которые обозначаются как коллекции, а не книжные серии.
